Panasonic CQ-VX3500
CD・MDレシーバー — The CQ-VX3500 sits at the top of Panasonic's early-2000s 2-DIN VX line, and it's the DSP that earns it the badge. Behind the face is a proper 2-in / 4-out digital sound processor with seven space modes and a 7-band equaliser running 80 Hz to 10 kHz, adjustable ±12 dB across thirteen steps — genuinely fine-grained for a factory-replacement deck of the period. CD and MiniDisc both live in the same chassis, there's a real AUX input on board (2 V, 10 kΩ) so a phone or a Bluetooth module drops straight in, and the pre-out runs a healthy 2 V into ≤600 Ω for anyone bolting on outboard amps. 41W × 4 keeps the doors honest until then. Peak-era Panasonic — tuned rather than just loud.
