MD/CD/チューナー・DSPメインユニット: Pioneer's own name for the FH-P717MD puts DSP in the product category, which tells you where the money went. The centrepiece is a 13 band graphic equaliser running from 50 Hz to 12.5 kHz at plus or minus 12 dB, which is a lot of resolution for a 2002 head unit, and behind it sits a network section with independent high pass filters for front and rear at 12 dB per octave plus a dedicated subwoofer output with its own 18 dB per octave slope, level trim down to minus 24 dB and switchable phase. In other words you can time a three way system properly without adding an outboard processor. The tuner is a strong one too, 40 dB of stereo separation and 50 dB selectivity at 9 kHz spacing, which matters on a crowded Japanese FM band. You can even add a remote to control it. At 2.7 kg it is a seriously heavy deck, and it feels it.
Bluetooth is included, and tested.
