Addzest DMZ545LP
2DINセンターユニット: Addzest was Clarion's home-market badge, and the DMZ545LP is the version of that badge with the long-play MiniDisc deck fitted. Feed it an 80 minute disc recorded in LP4 and you get 320 minutes of continuous playback, which in 2004 was an absurd amount of music to carry in one slot, and it reads group-edited MDs properly rather than dumping every track into one flat list. Sound shaping comes in two layers: Z-Enhancer Plus for the character of the sound, with Bass Boost, Impact, Excite and a custom slot, and a separate five mode DSP for the space it sits in, from Club up to Stadium. Magna Bass EX adds 10 dB at 50 Hz when you drop the volume, so it keeps its weight at night. 50W x 4, a proper AUX input with three selectable sensitivity levels so a quiet source does not disappear, and CeNET wiring for an external DVD, CD or MD changer.
